Discount Cigarettes | A Review of Broncos

Discount cigarettes have been around for a while now.  Let’s face it, cheap cigarettes from online resources have always been looked upon as having a horrible taste, and being low quality.

Times have changed though, and also, keep in mind that big tobacco spends huge amounts of money on advertising, a cost that’s passed on to you.

I’ll be reviewing Broncos, a discount cigarette brand available online.

Broncos:  About $21.00/Carton Delivered

Made in Colombia, Broncos Kings and 100’s are available in Full Flavor, Light, UltraLite, Menthol, and Menthol Lite.

  • MENTHOLS:   Some who prefer a strong menthol taste say the menthols are too light. Other menthol smokers like them just fine.

“I purchased a carton of Bronco Menthol and I have to wonder why I had smoked Newports for so long. The Broncos taste, smoke and burn like a premium cigarette. . . The smoothness and lack of harshness plus the perfect blend of menthol have hooked me.”

  • Bronco Lites:   “I have smoked Marlboro light 100s for years. Recently, I tried Bronco light 100s and find that they compare to the Marlboros at a much better cost.”
  • Bronco Full Flavor:   “from a Marlboro Red smoker: “not quite Marlboro, but not bad.”

“I thought Bronco was a very good cigarette, essentially similar to Marlboro FF but burns more slowly than a Marlboro. It has a strong, full-bodied smoke but I do not think it is any stronger than Marlboro.”

from Al M:
” I tried the Full Flavors and I liked them. It has a nice smooth taste and I would say Full Flavor tastes similar to Marlboro Red. Two thumbs up from me!”

from DCSG:
“A product of Colombia, made under the authority of Sun Tobacco, LTD. Length: 3 5/16 inches, 84 mm; filter 1 inch, 24 mm. The tobacco is a standard blend of light-to-medium brown flakes (with a few ribbons) and nothing unusual was found in the mix sampled. It also compressed about 1/8 inch in the tamp-down test. The Old Guy found nothing wrong with this one. It had a fine drag and a smooth draw. He was pleased with the taste, too. It had just enough boldness for him, with maybe just a touch of vanilla that was not overpowering. He said it left no unpleasant after-taste at all and burned at just the right rate. The Old Guy has already finished the pack he got from us and looks forward to getting more.”

Overall I’d give these a chance, and, at $21 a carton it’s way better than the nearly $9 we’re paying now and they look like a good cheap Marlboro alternative.  These are good discount cigarettes, but like any other cigarettes, including premium brands, you need to get used to them.
